The #1 Summer Wardrobe Item That is Already in Your Closet

The one wardrobe item that will work year round is a tee shirt. There is just nothing more timeless. While I love my plain white tee, this summer I’m trying to incorporate more elevated styles into my day to day style, and a t-shirt is the perfect way to do so. Whether it’s through print, color, or silhouette, there are so many ways a t-shirt can level up your outfit, here are some of our picks:

Colorful Graphic Tees

A graphic tee is something everybody owns. When I go shopping, I cannot help but look in the t-shirt section, where I inevitably pick up a few more shirts. Buying a printed tee can go one of two ways, something either quirky or funny, or a great design. Regardless, they are a great way to incorporate more color in your wardrobe, show your personality, and add an interesting element to an otherwise basic outfit. 

Some of my favs are from Ganni and Realisation Par, but H&M, Abercrombie, and Urban Outfitters are constant straight shooters at an affordable price-point that I love as well. 

Boxy Tees

If a modest look is what you are looking for, or something that is a little different from your standard oversized tee, a boxy tee is just what you need! I have seen boxy tees so much recently, and am pleasantly surprised with how people are styling them! Tucking them into a pair of jeans or trousers makes the t-shirt a great substitute between a tee and button down, and pairing a boxy tee with a silk skirt and sneakers is an easy but cool outfit for everyday. It might be intimidating at first, but give it a try! You never know what you may end up liking.

Baby Tees

The baby tee is my go-to when I wear my t-shirt and jeans combo. So basically my everyday uniform. I usually go for a simple white or black because it won’t draw too much attention and can work for different settings. But summer is the time for color and fun if there ever was one.

 Not Your Basic White Tees

This next selection of tees may not be “T-shirts” per say, but they are great options for those times you want something comfortable, and elevated. For the office, dinner with friends, whatever the occasion, it’s always good to have elevated basics in your closet, and these are just that.
