Let’s be honest, when you hear Kris Jenner, you probably think: Kardashians, glam, and drama. But what you might not know is that this woman is basically the CEO of modern-day personal branding. She didn’t just build a family empire, she built a blueprint. And she shares it all in her MasterClass on Personal Branding.
Here’s everything I learned watching her class, lessons every Gen Z girl needs if you're serious about becoming that girl in your industry, online or IRL.
Lesson 1: Your Life Is the Brand
Kris says it straight: "If you want to create a brand, look inside yourself." Your quirks, your story, your struggles, that’s your goldmine. She turned messy family dynamics into 20 seasons of TV and built billion-dollar brands on top of it.
Quick tip: Ask yourself, what do people always come to you for? That’s the beginning of your brand.
Lesson 2: Find Your White Space
Every market looks crowded, until you find your angle. Kris teaches how to spot the gap. Just like Kylie noticed traditional makeup brands weren’t vibing with Gen Z and dropped Kylie Lip Kits (sold out in seconds, by the way).
Action Step: Write down everything that frustrates you (in beauty, fashion, tech...). Chances are, your business idea is hiding in there.
Lesson 3: Build Your Personal Brand Temple
Kris introduces the “Branding Parthenon” – 5 pillars that define you:
● Story: What makes your journey unique?
● Purpose: What do you care deeply about?
● Voice: How do you communicate?
● Look: What’s your aesthetic?
● Community: Who’s your tribe?
Pro tip: This is basically your personal branding moodboard. Use it to guide your IG feed,
collabs, and projects.
Lesson 4: Be Strategic on Social Media
Kris uses Instagram, Twitter, and Tik Tok to amplify everything, from launching Skims to
reposting family wins. But she’s not just posting for fun. She uses:
● Video-first content (Reels, TikToks, Lives)
● Niche and viral hashtags
● Regular community polls and feedback loops
● Consistency over perfection
Try this: Post three times a week about what you love, ask your audience a question, and use a branded hashtag.
Lesson 5: Plan Like the CEO You Are
If you’re not treating your week like a business plan, it’s time. Kris shows how she schedules
creative blocks, collaboration outreach, and rest time. She literally has a planner that includes “laugh with my grandkids” and “brand meeting at 10.”
Want to start doing the same? I’ve been using the TPM Iced Matcha Daily Planner to stay on
track with my brand goals and it’s honestly a game changer. Whether you're creating content, launching a product, or just trying to organize your brain, it keeps it all clean, cute, and super effective.
You don’t need to do it all, just do it intentionally.
