The Perfect Meal To Make Your BF On Valentine's Day ~Easy Edition~

Heart Cookies

I once had a friend who read "stir by hand" while she was making cookies and literally thought that she was supposed to put her hand in the cookie dough bowl... and stir.

If you can relate to that story on any level when it comes to doing anything in the kitchen, MUUZ is going to help you out.

Impressing your BF this Valentine's Day doesn't mean you have to ask your mom how to make that one chicken recipe, even though you've already asked her four times and you still don't understand how to do it. Trust me, I don't know how to do it either.

So, from girl to girl and bad cook to bad cook... here is exactly what to do to convince your boyfriend that you're a five-star chef, even though you actually just read @ourMUUZ and got a little creative.

1. Cotton Candy Cocktails

Cotton Candy Cocktails

This is one of my favorite drink hacks that I literally use for every occasion. It looks so fancy and fun but it's literally like 2 ingredients. Obviously, not all of us can drink alcohol yet so I'm going to provide you with two options and he's going to love each one.

Cocktail Option:

  • Go to Trader Joe's and pick out your favorite Rosé (Most of their options are under $10)

  • Pick out your favorite cocktail glasses, I prefer these ones on Amazon.

  • Purchase any pink cotton candy of your choice.

Ingredients/Directions:

  • Fill your glasses up with Rosé

  • Place a bite of the cotton candy on the corner of the glass

  • When it's time to drink, you and your BF can toss the cotton candy into your drink, creating a sugary and sweet sip.

  • To get even more extra, you can add a strawberry or two to the drink.

Mocktail Option:

  • Follow all of the same steps at option 1, except when you go to Trader Joe's purchase the pink sparkling lemonade in place of the Rosé.

2. Appetizer: Heart-Shaped Caprese

Heart Caprese Salad

Okay, the only reason i'm obsessed with this "recipe" is because it looks so fancy and it literally requires no effort.

Ingredients:

  • Tomato

  • Mozeralla

  • Basil

  • Balsamic

Instructions:

  • Slice 2 tomatoes into 1/4" Pieces

  • Slice mozzeralla into 1/4" Pieces

  • Use a small "heart-shaped cookie-cutter" to turn your mozzarella into hearts

  • Place the basil leaves on top of the tomato

  • Place the heart mozzarella on top of the basil leaves

  • Drizzle balsamic across the caprese.

3. Main Course: Ravioli

Trader Joe's Heart Ravioli

So if you are blessed to live near a Trader Joe's, this TJ's ravioli is literally "the one". If Trader Joe's is just not in a relevant location to where you live, any ravioli will be more than fine. I just like these ones because they're in the cutest little shape of a heart and they literally take 5 minutes to make.

Instructions:

  • Place a whole pack of this TJ's ravioli in 4 quarts of lightly salted boiling water

  • Let the ravioli boil for 5-6 minutes

  • Drain the water out of the pot

  • Drizzle olive oil and a pinch of Parmesan Reggiano over the pasta

  • Display on cute plates such as these gems on Amazon

4. Dessert: Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

It is a given that chocolate-covered strawberries are literally the best Valentine's Day dessert. They are easy, delicious and so cute all at the same time. Here is my favorite recipe to make the sweetest ones.

  • Put your favorite chocolate chips in a bowl and place into the microwave for 1 minute. Take them out, mix them around, and place them back in the microwave for 1 more minute until the chips are melted

  • Dip your strawberries into the melted chocolate and use the stem to get a good grip

  • Place them on a baking sheet and place into the refrigerator to chill

  • To get extra fancy, you can drizzle your favorite chocolate over the batch for an extra touch, or use this edible glitter to get extra bougie.
