Now that August has begun, it seems as if everyone is jumping right into fall. Some may be excited for a pumpkin spice latte or apple picking, however, the girls are also focused on fall fashion. With back-to-school quickly approaching and brisk days on the horizon, there is a race to predict and buy the trending items just like we did this past summer. With that being said, here are the top 3 fashion trends we are predicting for this fall:

Ponchos Return 

As we saw this summer, it has been quite the poncho summer. All over TikTok the girls are wearing all kinds of ponchos, whether they are vibrant-colored, crochet, or shimmery. It is the perfect throw-on for a summer night with a tank and a skirt or white jeans. As the colder months approach, we will be seeing a lot of thicker, more sweater-like ponchos. Not only are they a fashion statement, but they also keep you warm on a chilly day. 

Capris?!?! 

The next trend prediction evokes mixed emotions, but apparently capris are back! You’re probably thinking, isn’t Bella Hadid the only one who can pull off capris?-but honestly, all the cool girls seem to be wearing them. This fall, we will definitely be seeing capris paired with an oversized blazer and some kitten heels. Honestly, I don’t know how to feel…but I’m excited to see! 

Boots Are the New Sneakers 

Once the leaves change, the topic of back-to-school shoes always resurfaces. Of course, there are the classics, like UGGs, which somehow make every outfit feel 100x cozier, whether you’re running to class or grabbing coffee. But this season is also about the statement boot: suede knee-high boots, black moto boots, and even Western-inspired boots are having a quiet comeback. Boots are becoming the everyday staple, and I am not complaining!
