Over the past year I have had the opportunity to explore Montreal. As a young woman in my 20s, to me, Montreal has it all! From amazing coffee to high end night clubs, there is always something to do or something to eat in the beautiful city of Montreal. This is a must see place to add to your travel list, and I have all my favorite places for the best experiences listed below!

COFFEE RUN

For the much needed coffee runs to fuel a full day of exploring and late nights

Nocturne

This simple cafe is my all time favorite spot for a mocha latte, and trust me I have tried mochas everywhere. With homemade pastries, croissants, and sandwiches each morning. Nocturne is a one stop shop in the morning with an unbeatable latte, and a flavorful snack. These lattes are also perfect for a midday pick me up, or even an afternoon study session. The atmosphere is simple, yet peaceful. Nocturne should be a must.

BRUNCH

Arthurs Nosh Bar

A brunch that can cure any hangover. Dive into Nosh Bar and enjoy their iconic thick ricotta pancakes, full breakfast plates loaded with all the essentials, and rich, comforting coffee that brings you back to life after a weekend of fun. The atmosphere is bright, buzzy, and effortlessly cool, the kind of place where you can throw on sunglasses, order everything on the menu, and slowly recover with good food, good company, and that classic Montreal energy.

LUNCH/ DINNER

Oncle Lee

For a lavish night out, amazing dark lighting and food worth drooling over, I would recommend Oncle Lee. Amazing cocktail menu paired with a simple, yet flavorful contemporary Chinese cuisine, everything is worth the try. Perfect for date night or splurging on food before a long night out, Oncle Lee brings all the vibes, and Michelin Star food.

Dumpling Hut

Dumpling hut is perfect for a simple lunch or dinner, especially perfect for a snowy evening. The Hut is located near St. Laurent Avenue, tucked away on a back street, just big enough to fit about 6 tables. The menu is simple of a few appetizers, and various dumpling flavors to choose from for dinner. These dumplings are made in house and warms the soul. Dumpling Hut is always a must when I am in Montreal.

NIGHT LIFE

Subouis

Subouis is the definition of a high-end night out in Montreal; moody, underground, and effortlessly luxurious. Tucked beneath the city streets, it feels like a secret everyone wants to be in on. Think velvet textures, dim lighting, and a curated atmosphere that makes every night feel special. The music is always on point, the bottle service is sleek without being pretentious, and the crowd is a perfect mix of fashion-girl energy and polished young professionals. Whether you're celebrating something or just dressing up for the fun of it, Subouis gives you that “main character in Montreal” feeling every single time.
