You’re Gonna Regret Not Buying These Before September: 5 Fall Staples to Grab Early

Once it’s August, it’s basically fall. Not on the calendar, not in the weather, but definitely in your online shopping cart. The it-girl pieces you’ll want when the leaves finally turn? They’ll likely be sold out by then. So here’s your head start. 

1. Uggs (a definite sell out)

• You already know how this goes. It’s an annual tradition for Uggs to sell out even before there’s a breeze in the air. Ultra Minis, the ballet flats, and even the Tazz platforms are in stock now, but they will not stay that way for long. If there was ever a time to say run, don’t walk, this is it. 

2. An oversized and slouchy hobo bag 

• There’s just something about fall that calls for a slouchy bag, the kind that effortlessly moves with you. Think burgundy, deep olive, and chocolate brown. The chicest bags disappear fast, so if one’s speaking to you, snag it before anyone else does. This woven brown one from Peppermayo? Immediately added to cart. 

3. The perfect cardigan

I haven’t caved yet, but I have to admit that they look so good with slouchy white socks. 

5. Fall colored sweat set 

• Burgundy was the color of the fall last year, and it’s one of those colors that keeps coming back for a reason. If you’re anything like me and don’t feel complete without the full set, they have matching sweats too.
