Yesterday was the NFL schedule release day, a huge day for frat guys, educated girlies, and
your dad. Yesterday was a mini Superbowl for everyone who pays attention. The football
franchises went above and beyond when putting together their promo videos announcing the regular season schedule. From clever writing to all out productions, these promos were nothing short of entertaining and creative. Every team used some sort of teaser or trailer to promote their schedule however some definitely took the cake. Without further ado, here are the best promos for the 2025 NFL schedule release.
Schedule-rizi: Tennessee Titans
The Titans nailed it this year with a short and sweet teaser mimicking a typical drug commercial. They introduce a new drug called Schedule-rizi, a drug used to cure “football season withdrawal” by announcing the new schedule and letting fans know when and with whom games are played. They even take jabs at the opposing teams by connecting usual “side effects” for the drug with the team they’re facing, such as jet lag could be caused by a Week 11 game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Minecraft: Los Angeles Chargers
The LA Chargers took the production value to a new level with a Minecraft themed schedule release promo. This video has all of the NFL quarterbacks being shown in their typical uniforms traveling through different biomes as the schedule is announced, all while featuring the usual Minecraft font and niches that only players would recognize. It would not be a true promo videowithout poking fun at the other teams and the Chargers do it effortlessly, such as showing the ghost of Saquon Barkely during the announcing of the game against the New York Giants.
Severance: Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens knocked it out of the park with the creativity and production of their video, making them the true winners of the “promo wars.” This video showcases top notch acting from both players and coaches of the team all behind the familiar and creepy Severance music. This video has everything from the mention of the players “innie and outie” topped with Eric DeCosta feeding the baby goats. Due to this video’s all around quality it feels less of a social media promo and more of an actual television show trailer.
All in all, all of the teams had creative topics and great production for their videos, however
there were some that most would agree “won.” Not only is the NFL schedule releasing a big
event to see who your favorite team is playing, but it is also made into a spectacle for the
viewers who are watching the announcements as they come out.
