It's Festival SZN | Here's Everything You Need To Survive

By: Ariella Youssefyeh

concert

Coachella season is over....but that doesn’t mean festival season is!

Finding outfits for festivals that are both fun and functional is so much work, + it’s so easy to forget what you actually NEED to bring. MUUZ is here to make the process easier by

suggesting accessories to elevate your festival outfits in both unique and practical ways, + a few items you can’t forget.

Pashima

Pashmina’s are the cutest and most useful festival accessories. Whether you need a makeshift blanket to warm you up, something to help cover up any dust that might get into your face outside, or a pop of color, pashmina’s are the way to go. There are a ton of different options on Amazon and some great choices on Etsy if you’re looking to support small businesses.

arm cuff

Jewelry is my favorite way to elevate any cute set. Body chains are such a hot addition to a summer look, guaranteed to elevate your style. You also can never go wrong with an arm cuff.

fanny pack

I get it, fanny packs aren’t always the vibe. But do you know what else isn’t the vibe? Getting your things stolen. Fanny packs will always be on my must-have list for any festival or concert. Having a purse or other type of bag can be great, but nothing beats the security of a bag that’s literally attached to you and on the front of your outfit. The best part is they come in so many different colors, you can pick the one that matches best with your look that day.

portable charger

My phone died at a festival one year and it was horrible. I couldn't contact anyone, had no idea where I needed to meet my friends, and it was nighttime. I was genuinely so nervous. We’re here to make sure you don’t create any “dead phone horror stories” of your own. I cannot emphasize this enough: bring a portable charger (please).

perfume

Festival days are long. You get ready in the morning but don’t end up back home until literally the next morning. Realistically, the perfume and deodorant you put on at midnight, isn’t going to be as effective by midnight. That’s one of the many reasons I love to have a little travel-size perfume with me. It makes me feel a little more refreshed before I get to take that post-festival shower and keeps you smelling good when you’re out all day. Of course, any travel-size perfume will work, but Glossier “You” is my personal favorite scent. If you haven’t tried it you need to.
