You’re never fully dressed without a smile, and to me, you’re also never fully dressed without a nice set of nails. With every change of season like clockwork nail trends change, and eventhough they’re hard to predict, I’ve tried to project the next four nail trends that I think will dominate the spring and summer.

Ballet Pink

Ballet pink is an easy go to nail color that dominates the beginning of the season as everybody is, deciding what chance to follow. Even though it is a fallback plan, ballet pink will always be a classy addition that completes any outfit and upgrades your look. It is guaranteed that it will never go out of style.

Polka Dots

Polkadots dominated our childhood, and now I feel like it is dominating nail trends. I think there is nothing more fun than the polka dot nail that I see constantly while I am scrolling Pinterest. It is so easy to change the variation of colors to match how you’re feeling for that week and I feel like it is a fun way to upgrade a monochrome look without it becoming too overwhelming.

Sunburst Monochrome Nails

I don’t exactly know how to explain these nails and the best word I could find to describe them is Sunburst. Like the previous Nails I think Sunburst nails are such a good way to upgrade a normal mono chrome nail look and even though it is a design, it is underwhelming enough where it does not clash with outfits and the clean girl aesthetic, which we covet.

Specialty French Nails

Like ballet, pink French nails will always be an easy go to to fall back on on nail day. One way to upgrade them is making them specialty French. I have seen French nails in the shape of a

heart, decorated with flowers, sprinkled in with some polkadots, embedded with patterns and a multitude of other designs. While the normal French nail will always be iconic adding a little something to spruce it up I don’t think we’ll ever miss.
