If it’s one thing I hate during the fall and winter season, it’s chapped lips. And this year, there is absolutely no place for it, which is why finding the perfect balm is the ultimate cold-weather essential. If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I’m basically a lip balm fanatic. I’ve tried more than I can count, from drugstore staples to mainstream favorites everyone raves about. After endless testing, and reapplying, I’ve narrowed it down to the five lip balms that are truly worth the hype. These picks will keep your lips smooth, soft, and ready to take on the cold weather without a single flake in sight.
Out of all of these choices and you had to choose one lip balm, choose this one. The EADEM Le Chouchou lip balm is my ultimate favorite, I quite literally own 4 of them in 4 different colorways. The standout feature is its sleek metal tip applicator, which glides so smoothly across your lips and is so so cooling. My lips stay nourished all day with the formula, and I am especially obsessed with their recently released limited edition croissant flavors!
OLEHENRIKSEN’s Pout Preserve Hydrating Peptide Lip Treatment is also an amazing option that keeps my lips soft, plump, and hydrated all day. This is the perfect glossy lip balm that is both subtle and shiny—perfect for anyone who wants something neutral. I will say it’s definitely more of a lightweight formula, which is good because it absorbs easily without feeling sticky. I love to wear it alone or under my favorite lipstick to go out!
