Coffee

Over spring break, I went to London for the first time. As a tourist, I spend the weeks before my trip studying all the places I absolutely need to visit. For London, I immediately knew one of the places I must visit was Notting Hill. London is one of the most walkable cities that I have ever visited. It is easy to navigate and super tourist-friendly. Of all the places I visited, the least published, must-visit spot to visit is Notting Hill.

Brunch

I think the perfect way to start a day is to walk to breakfast. When I was in London, the walk to Notting Hill from our hotel was just under 40 minutes and was the perfect morning stroll before brunch. Notting Hill is full of aesthetic brunch places to fuel up for a busy day ahead. But don't eat too much, because while walking around, you will definitely want to stop for some baked goods and the famous bakeries.

Vintage Shopping

One of Notting Hill's biggest pulls is the Portobello Road Market. Portobello Road is a line of

shops selling a variety of goods from watches to furniture and, most importantly, vintage clothes. It is impossible not to find the perfect London souvenir (or a suitcase full) , while shopping here. My favorite thing about the vintage shops was the fact that the shop owners were so eager to tell the story of the shops and every item they were selling.

Colorful Houses

One of the most photogenic places in London, perfect for a Pinterest-worthy picture, is the colorful houses in Notting Hill. As long as you are being respectful to the homeowners, they will let you take photos in front of their uniquely colored houses.

Kensington Palace

On the way to Notting Hill, it is impossible not to stop at one of the most captivating and inviting estates of the British Royal family. Kensington Palace was the home of Princess Diana and has become overflowing with love for her. The gardens and the overall park surrounding Kensington Palace are a sight worth seeing.
