4 Nail Ideas That Aren’t Just Chrome

Chrome nails have definitely had their moment, but with the upcoming fall season, your
nails deserve something fresh. Think delicate accents, romantic hues, and styles that feel
polished yet distinctive. Whether you’re heading to class, a brunch with your girlfriends, or just want to feel a little extra put-together, these styles are five of my favorite nails (that lean away from chrome!)
Polka dots
Polka Dots have taken over social media by storm, and there’s no doubt that includes our
nails as well. Whether you’re doing them yourself or getting them done at the salon, they’re easy to pull off, simplistic, yet endlessly versatile, perfect for adding a playful twist to a classic manicure.

Plaid Nails
Plaid nails are undoubtedly considered controversial, but in my opinion, that’s what
makes them so intriguing: they’re playful, retro, and totally subjective. Right now, plaid nails
aren’t as mainstream as patterns like polka dots or gingham, which makes it the perfect time to try them before they completely take over your feed.

Aura Nails
Aura nails are the ultimate dreamy manicure, or what I like to call them, simply ethereal.
Various gradient colors mimic the glow of an aura, and whether you choose soft pastels, dark tones, or pops of color, these nails feel like my personal favorite as they turn your nails into something truly mesmerizing.

Cocktail Nails
Why settle for ordinary nails when your nails can match your favorite drink? Espresso
martini inspired nails are rich, indulgent, and are perfect for the fall, while dirty martini-inspired nails are more of an edgy twist. Both styles are ideal for anyone who loves nails that illustrate a story!
