The Galentine’s Feeling
There’s something undeniably special about Galentine’s Day, a softness to it that feels both celebratory and intentional. It’s a reminder that love doesn’t only live in romance, but in friendships, shared traditions, and the moments we choose to make meaningful. For a MUUZ girl, Galentine’s Day isn’t about excess or perfection; it’s about thoughtful details, personal touches, and celebrating girlhood in all its forms.
When I spoke with Erin of Eventful Erin, she described Galentine’s Day as one of her favorite moments to host. “It’s about creating a space where people feel celebrated the second they walk in,” she shared. “Elevated, but still comfortable. Styled, but real.”
Themes are always the starting point. They help set the tone and give the night its personality. Some of Erin’s favorites include Denim & Desserts, Martinis & Mini Skirts, A Tini Bit of Love, Cupids & Cosmos, and PJs & Prosecco. Each theme captures a different version of girlhood, whether that’s cozy, playful, or unapologetically dressed up.
One theme she returns to again and again is Denim & Desserts. It’s effortless yet intentional. Everyone already owns denim, making it accessible, while the dessert-focused element adds a celebratory feel. Erin loves asking guests to bring their favorite sweets to share, then elevating the setup with silver serving dishes, a Prosecco bar, and small decorative touches like edible glitter. “It’s simple,” she says, “but it still feels special.”
The MUUZ-Girl Approach
At the heart of Erin’s hosting philosophy is the idea that girlhood deserves to be celebrated. Not just the milestones, but the everyday moments too. A MUUZ-girl Galentine’s should feel chic, intentional, and unapologetic; chic in its presentation, intentional in its planning, and unapologetic in its joy.
One of the biggest misconceptions about Galentine’s Day is that it has to be perfect. Erin disagrees. Whether it’s a fully themed cocktail night or a low-key pajama gathering with rom-coms playing in the background, what matters most is the effort to bring people together. “The details don’t have to be complicated,” she shared. “They just need heart.”
Small, thoughtful touches are what turn a gathering into a memory, a signature drink, themed desserts, cute garnishes, or a simple interactive game. Presentation matters, from bows tied around champagne bottles to desserts that feel like their own moment. Music does too. Erin gravitates toward artists like Olivia Dean, Sabrina Carpenter, Gracie Abrams, and Madison Beer, starting soft and building energy as the night goes on.
Hosting, she says, should never feel overwhelming. Guests bringing something helps keep the night collaborative, mocktails deserve just as much attention as cocktails, and prepping ahead of time makes all the difference. Something will always run late, but that’s part of the charm.
The MUUZ Galentine’s Menu
For Erin, Galentine’s is equal parts cocktails and dessert moments. She’s firmly team themed drinks + sweet treats, with presentation being just as important as flavor.

Making Everything Eventful
Underlying all of Erin’s advice is one guiding belief: make everything eventful. It’s a mindset that has shaped not only her gatherings, but her career.
Erin launched her virtual event planning business, Eventful Erin, on February 14, 2022, calling it her “one true love.” This Valentine’s Day marks four years of building a brand rooted in creativity, celebration, and intentional living.
To commemorate the anniversary, Erin released an eBook designed for anyone who loves hosting, is curious about the event planning industry, or dreams of turning their creativity into a career. The eBook walks readers through how Erin built her business from the ground up, sharing her process, lessons learned, and the creative and legal foundations needed to start with confidence.
It’s an extension of the same philosophy she brings to Galentine’s Day: that life’s moments, big or small are worth celebrating thoughtfully.
Whether it’s a night spent with your closest friends or the beginning of something new, a MUUZ girl knows that love, intention, and celebration always belong at the center.
