Last week I was lucky enough to visit Paris for a few days with one of my best friends (more spontaneous trips in 2026 please!!). Packing all of the top tourist spots & a few niche finds into just 3 days proved to be quite the task when planning our itinerary, but with these recommendations, travel tips & hints, you can feel confident in planning the perfect, well-rounded trip to the city of love this year.Â

Start earlyÂ
There’s something so exciting about waking up early in a new city and exploring without the general hustle and bustle. If you’re travelling from afar, leveraging your adjustment to the change in time zones is a great opportunity for an early wake-up in order to head out to start your sightseeing early.Â
My ideal itinerary? Starting your morning in the gorgeous town of Montmartre, grabbing coffee and pastries at Mamiche or Noir and enjoying as you head up towards the Sacre Coeur for panoramic views across Paris as the sun rises and a look around the beautiful cathedral.Â
Spend an afternoon in Le Marais
Easily one of the most MUUZ girl-coded areas in the city. After some sightseeing, head over to The Marais in the third and fourth arrondissements of Paris. With a selection of unique and affordable vintage boutiques (hit The ROOM, Skat Vintage and Systeme Solere), gorgeous cafes and bakeries (Sevenly Heart, Copains and Umami Matcha) and quirky jewellery shops (Mara Paris and L’Atelier d’Amaya), it’s the perfect place to spend a girly afternoon and pick up some unique pieces and gifts to remind you of your trip. Check out this MUUZ guide to thrifting to find all the best vintage & reworked pieces!Â
Don’t forget to head to a vintage photobooth too for a super cute souvenir (hint, hint, 5 Bd des Filles du Calvaire in Les Marais).Â

Book, book, book!Â
An unwritten rule on any trip is to make sure you book attractions, dinners & shows ahead of time to ensure a smooth-running and enjoyable trip. Trust me, there’s nothing worse than the feeling of missing out on a reservation or an unforgettable experience by forgetting to book it. Use GetYourGuide to book tickets for The Louvre Museum (an absolute must see), Seine River cruises (one of our trip highlights!), cabaret shows (we took a trip to Crazy Horse, one of the oldest cabarets in Paris, and I cannot recommend it enough) and experiences and workshops such as macaron making, jewellery making and wine tastings. For coveted dinner reservations, make sure to book in advance and make use of your greatest tool, social media, for recommendations and further tips and tricks. Some of my favourite creators with helpful Paris content include @jennyfromdablokk, @wherestacygoes and @maddie_m_clark.Â
