So, it finally happened. The lease has been signed, the hunt on FaceBook Marketplace is (almost) complete, and the new roommate group chat is in full swing for this upcoming semester. Girls, this is cause for a huge celebration. Take it from someone who knows, living with your besties will be just as exciting– if not more– than you are already anticipating it to be. 

Not everyone will clap when you win, even if they love you. And that’s okay. Protect your peace, choose who you share things with, and never dim your light just to keep someone else comfortable.

Graduating high school, entering college, graduating college, entering new love relationships can all lead to friendship fade outs. Times change and maybe you and a friend don't seem to be on the same wavelength anymore and that's ok! I think growing up we all believed that the friends we made in high school will be forever, and while that may be true for some friendships, it's not for all.
